People into Action relaunch

People into Action is back and we have made some changes to evolve the scheme whilst keeping the best features of the programme.

What’s new:

  • We have introduced the ability to recognise individuals all year round via an “e-thank you”. Anyone can send an e-thank you at any time to a colleague for a contribution that brings a Land Securities value to life. This is a non-monetary award and line managers are automatically notified when an e-thank you is sent to one of their LS team members.
  • There are now four opportunities to be a PIA quarterly award winner during the year and the PIA year follows the financial year. Nominations can be made by a peer or manager and line managers are automatically notified when a nomination is sent to one of their LS team members. The nomination window will be open during the financial quarter and closed at the end of the quarter. 
  • Winners will now receive a flexible redeemable retail voucher, which can be redeemed against a variety of retailers on-line and in store. Each quarter, winners will be announced via internal comms and on this site.
  • To recognise colleagues and partners who have gone above and beyond their role in handling a particularly challenging event or supporting the public in line with our values, a new ‘exceptional contribution’ category has been created.
  • The annual award event is now the “summer award dinner” where we will celebrate all quarterly winners and recognise the best contributions in each value category through the Best of the Best awards.
